This 1 Day Nairobi National Park safari starts with an early pickup from your hotel/apartment of stay by our driver guide. He will welcome to your 1 Day Nairobi National Park safari and then brief you about it before you embark on a scenic road drive to the park. During the drive, enjoy sightseeing on the way and also get to watch the city and all its bustle kick off in the morning. Once you reach Nairobi National Park, you will head straight for a morning game drive, which can last 3-4 hours. During the game drive, enjoy your game viewing experience and look out for as many wildlife species as possible. Some of the wildlife species you are sure to encounter in Nairobi National Park include the Big5 minus the elephants, hyenas, gazelles, giraffes, elands, and so much more including pools of hippos. Look out for various bird species in the park during the game drive. After, you will proceed to one of the carnival restaurants from where you will have a sumptuous meal for lunch.
After your sumptuous lunch at a selected restaurant, you can choose one of the two options below;
Option one
After lunch, you can continue with a game drive in Nairobi National Park as you search for the Big five except the elephant which is not resident here. This afternoon game drive can take 1-2 hours. Enjoy the view of Nairobi city as a backdrop of Nairobi National Park during the game drive.
Option two
After lunch, you can head to the Nairobi Animal Orphanage, which is inside the park for a visit. Nairobi Animal Orphanage was founded in 1963 so as to provide a home to injured and orphaned wildlife in the park, treated and rehabilitated before they are re-introduced to the wild. The orphanage has lions, cheetahs, serval cats, warthogs, leopards, buffaloes, various monkey species among so many others. While at the Nairobi Animal Orphanage, travellers get to see the animals up-close and also learn of how they are taken care of from when they get in the orphanage.
Once done with either option of your afternoon activity, you will proceed to depart Nairobi National Park for the city taking with you only memories and maybe some amazing pictures you could have taken. You will then be dropped off at your point of pickup.
