Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi, Transfer to Aberdare National Park, Game drives
On this 1st day of your 7 Days Best of Kenya Wildlife Safari, you shall be picked up from your hotel of stay in Nairobi by our Tanzania safari guide. He shall brief you about your Kenya safari, and then embark on a transfer to Aberdare National Park for about 3 hours and a half. Get to watch the Kenyan countryside as you pass by different villages. Once you arrive at the park, enjoy a game drive as you proceed to the lodge. Check in, have lunch and then head out in the afternoon for game drives in Aberdare National Park. You shall see a number of wildlife in Aberdare National Park including cape buffaloes, waterbucks, suni, the East African wild dog, elephants, leopards, lions, side striped jackals, among so many others. The landscape of Aberdare National Park is great to behold, with amazing hills and volcanic outcrops. In the evening, you shall return to the lodge for diner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive, Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, check out and get to enjoy a morning game drive in Aberdare National Park to see yet again wild animals that you may have missed the previous day. Proceed on a transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park, passing through the Equator line and the Great Rift Valley escarpment from where you shall have amazing views. Once in the park, you shall drive to the lodge while enjoying game viewing. Check in, have lunch and then relax for a bit before we proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Rhinos, hippos, waterbucks, zebra, giraffe, tree-climbing lions, gazelles and so many more wild animals can be spotted during a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. While on a game drive, you shall visit Lake Nakuru for a bird watching activity. Some of the birds you will see include millions of pink flamingos, grey-headed woodpecker, bateleur, Abyssinian thrush among so many others. After, you shall drive back to the lodge in the evening, for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve, Game viewing
On this 3rd day of your 7 Days Best of Kenya Wildlife Safari, you shall enjoy an early morning breakfast and then check out of the lodge. Enjoy a game drive as you leave Lake Nakuru National Park for a transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve through Narok town. The drive shall take about 5 hours, so you shall reach just in time for lunch which you will enjoy at the lodge. After some time of relaxation, you shall head out for a game viewing opportunity in the Maasai Mara as you search for predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, as well as other wildlife like elephants, buffaloes, among so many others. Return to the lodge thereafter for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day Maasai Mara National Reserve
Today, you shall have a full day Maasai Mara National Reserve experience. This 4th day of your amazing 7 Days Best of Kenya Wildlife Safari has you enjoying an early morning breakfast at the lodge and then head out for a full day Maasai Mara adventure activities. Enjoy game drives through great savannah plains, great scenery and abundant wildlife including but not limited to elands, giraffes, crocodiles, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, and a number of bird species.
Depending on your time of visiting Maasai Mara National Reserve, you could get to watch the great spectacle of more than one million wildebeests, zebras and antelopes cross the Mara River to Serengeti National Park of Tanzania, in an annual great spectacle termed the great wildebeest migration. You shall have a picnic lunch at the bank of the Mara River as you enjoy sights of crocodiles, hippos, water birds and so much more.
Embark on another game drive after lunch, and explore more of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Return to the lodge after for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Game drive, Transfer to Lake Naivasha, Bird watching
On this 5th day of the 7 Days Best of Kenya Wildlife Safari, you shall wake up early in the morning and then proceed for another early morning game drive around the Maasai Mara to look for those wild animals that you may have otherwise missed the previous day. After, return to the lodge for a sumptuous break and then check out for a transfer to Lake Naivasha National Park. Lake Naivasha National Park is about 5 hours away from Maasai Mara National Reserve. Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake that lies at the Great Rift Valley and is known to inhabit loads of bird species. With over 400 bird species recorded in the park, Lake Naivasha National Park is an important birding area in Kenya from where tourists can spot lots of bird species, even 100 if keen enough.
Once in the park, proceed to check in and enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the lodge. After, you shall head out for a bird watching activity on Lake Naivasha. Some of the common sightings include greater and lesser flamingos, shoebills, red knotted coot, African spoonbill, and so many others. Return to the lodge later for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Amboseli National Park, Game drive

Amboseli National Park is one of the most beautiful and scenic Kenya national parks that you can ever visit. Amboseli National Park lies at the floor of the great Kilimanjaro Mountain, and inhabits large herds of elephants. Viewing these large herds of elephants against the backdrop of the Kilimanjaro Mountain is very breath-taking and photogenic! Once in Amboseli National Park, check in at the lodge, enjoy lunch and then head out for an afternoon game drive to spot various wildlife species including cheetahs, elands, lions, large herds of elephants, buffaloes, among so many others. Enjoy a scenic view of the peak of Mountain Kilimanjaro on a good day. After, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer back to Nairobi
On this last day of your 7 Days Best of Kenya Wildlife Safari, you shall enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge, check out thereafter and go for the last game drive in Amboseli National Park, as you head out of the park on a transfer back to Nairobi. You shall enjoy lunch at a selected restaurant in Nairobi, and then be dropped off at your hotel of stay or at the airport for an outbound flight.
