Boyoma Falls, previously known as Stanley Falls, is a series of seven waterfalls, each of about 5 m high, reaching over 100 km along a long Lualaba Stream between the waterway port towns of Ubundu and Kisangani in the Orientale province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The seven waterfalls have a total drop of 61 m. They structure the biggest cascade by volume of yearly flow rate on the planet, surpassing both the Niagara Falls and the Iguazu Falls. The two significant waterfalls are the first underneath Ubundu, framing a marrow and warped stream that is barely open, and the last that can be seen and visited from Kisangani. At the bottom of the rapids, the Lualaba is known as the Congo River. A 1m-guage portage rail route sidesteps the series of rapids, interfacing Kisangani and Ubundu. The last of the seven waterfalls of the Boyoma Falls is otherwise called the Wagenia Falls, alluding to the local Wagenya fishermen, who have mastered an exceptional procedure to fish in the river. They assemble frameworks of wooden stands across the rapids fixed in holes curved in the rock by the water current. These act as anchors for fishing baskets that entangle large fish, Top tourist attractions in Congo
