Kahuzi Biega National Park

Kahuzi Biega National Park is one of the most visited parks in the Democratic Republic of Congo, located in the eastern part of the country near Bukavu town. The park is just near the western bank of Lake Kivu and the Rwandan border, making it easily accessible from Rwanda that it can be incorporated on a Rwanda-Congo safari. Kahuzi Biega National Park is very rich in diversity of flora and fauna, and provides a habitat to over 1,178 plant species in the mountainous region of the park.
