Day 1: Pickup and Drive to Mbale
You will be picked up from your accommodation and driven to Mbale via Mukono, taking in the cool air of the Mabira forest and the stunning views of the tea and sugar plantations as you go to Jinja, stopping at the Nile’s source for a visit to the reptile park and a boat tour along the Nile. After lunch in Jinja, travel to Mbale and settle into a nearby guesthouse.
In the evening, take an evening stroll in Mbale to enjoy the lovely scenery, or stay and rest at your hotel. Stay overnight and have supper at the hotel.
Day 2: Hike to Sipi Falls
Today, you will wake up in time to have your morning tea/coffee and go trekking to Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa. Sipi Falls is a chain of three waterfalls in Eastern Uganda’s Kapchorwa area, northeast of Sironko and Mbale.
The waterfalls are located on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park, close the Kenyan border. Following the trek, you will have a late lunch before returning to your lodge to rest for the evening. The lodge serves dinner and provides overnight accommodations.
Day 3: Drive Back to Kampala.
On the last day of your 3 Days Sipi Falls Hiking Safari, you will have breakfast served at your hotel/lodge. You will embark on your return journey back to Kampala. You will first stopover for a visit at Nyero rock painting for a rock climbing expedition and later have lunch in Mbale town. After lunch, proceed with your drive to Kampala where your driver guide will drop you off at a hotel of your choice in Kampala or Entebbe international Airport.
