Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pickup and Transfer to Lake Naivasha National Park, Boat safari
On this 1st day of your 3 Days Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate tour, you will be picked up by our company driver-guide from the airport or your hotel/apartment of stay. You will be briefed about your 3 Days Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate safari before you proceed for a transfer to Lake Naivasha National Park. The drive from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha National Park takes about 2 hours, through Kenya’s countryside filled with the locals going through their daily life routine. Once in the park, enjoy a game drive as you drive to your lodge if stay. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the lodge and thereafter proceed for an afternoon boat safari in Crescent Island. You will enjoy a bird watching experience here for there are about 450 species of birds recorded here alone. A number of animal species can also be seen including zebras, hartebeests, giraffes among others. The boat safari takes the whole afternoon. You will return to your lodge of stay in the evening, relax as you await your dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Horseback safari, Transfer to Hell’s Gate National Park, Game drive
Today, you will have an early morning horseback safari in the park for an opportunity to see a number of wildlife as well as enjoy the sun rise over the horizon giving out some very beautiful colours and a sight to behold. After, you will return to the lodge for a sumptuous breakfast and then check out of the lodge. Enjoy a game drive through Lake Naivasha National Park as you depart the park for a transfer to Hell’s Gate National Park. Enjoy a game drive as you drive to your lodge of stay in Hell’s Gate National Park. Check in at the lodge, relax as you wait for your lunch. Head out thereafter for an afternoon game drive in the park sighting a variety of wildlife including elands, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and so much more. Return to the lodge thereafter for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Walking safari, Departure
On this last day of your 3 Days Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate Safari, you will head out for an early morning walking safari in Hell’s Gate National Park. You will get to explore the park extensively and come up-close with the park animals as well as see other attractions like hot springs, coloured rocks and the hot and cold waterfalls. Wildlife like elands and zebras can be seen. Thereafter, return to the lodge for late morning breakfast and then proceed to depart the park for Nairobi and be dropped off at your hotel/apartment of stay or at the airport for your outbound flight.
